Sheltering Scholars: An Apex Roofing & Restoration Education Initiative

Apex Roofing & Restoration is proud to introduce Sheltering Scholars, our scholarship initiative dedicated to supporting Alabama college students through financial assistance and community engagement. As a company built in Alabama, we recognize the importance of giving back to the state that laid the foundation for our success. Through this program, we aim to empower the next generation of leaders by helping them achieve their academic and career aspirations.
Scholarship Overview
The Sheltering Scholars initiative will award five students with a $7,500 scholarship each to assist with tuition and educational expenses. This initiative reflects Apex Roofing & Restoration’s ongoing commitment to strengthening our local community by investing in students who are making a difference.

Eligibility Requirements
To apply, students must meet the following criteria:
✔ Be currently accepted or enrolled at an Alabama college (4-year university or junior college).
✔ Use the award money toward tuition or educational expenses, such as housing.
✔ Submit a resume and a 1–2 page essay responding to the following prompt:
Essay Prompt:
“Roofing is not just about building strong structures; it’s about creating foundations for communities to thrive. Share how you have worked to support your community, overcome challenges, or build opportunities for others. In your essay, connect these efforts to how this scholarship will help you ‘raise the roof’ on your own education and future goals.”

To apply for the Sheltering Scholars scholarship, please submit your college or high school transcripts (whichever is most recent), resume, and essay to [email protected] by May 27, 2025.
